ABOUT CONVICT CODE
THE SYSTEM TRIED TO BREAK US. THE CODE BUILT US.
This ain’t some True Crime tourist attraction. This ain’t for the armchair detectives, the cop lovers, or the ones living through a Netflix screen.
This is for the ones who lived it. The ones who walked the yards, did the time, paid the price.
We built Convict Code for the ones who understand respect, loyalty, survival. For the ones who know that outside is wilder than inside—because out here, nobody plays by the rules.
Some of us had it all and lost it. Some of us learned the hard way. But we all know this:
The Code is the only thing that’s real.
Loyalty ain’t given, it’s earned.
Weak ones fold. Real ones adapt.
THIS ISN'T FOR EVERYONE. AND THAT’S THE POINT.
If you’re looking for cheap crime stories and copaganda, keep it moving.
If you’re here to understand what it takes to survive when the world locks you out, welcome home.
If you get it, you get it.
If you don’t, this wasn’t meant for you.
The ones who carry the ink, the stories, the scars.
If you don’t get it, it ain’t for you. Move along.

MEET THE HOSTS
The voices behind Convict Code aren’t reporters, crime junkies, or armchair analysts—they’ve lived it. Every episode is built from firsthand experience, survival lessons, and the raw truth they don’t teach in books.
No fluff. No sugarcoating. Just real stories from those who know the system inside and out.
The Code is real. The rest is just noise.

Joe Farr - The One Who Lived It

THE SYSTEM TRIED TO BURY ME. THE CODE BUILT ME.
I wasn’t some corner hustler scraping for change—I was taking whole banks. From Knoxville to Atlanta, from Chicago to Dallas, I ran through cities like they were my playground. Buckhead was my empire. The Ritz Carlton was home, and every night, I burned through stacks at Tattletales, surrounded by escorts, liquor, and power.
When the money ran dry, I went and got more.

Then came 1990. One week past my 18th birthday, and the feds finally caught up. Slick lawyers got me off light—60 months. That was my first taste of the system. But the outside? The outside was worse.
No respect. No Code. People walking around like they’d never been punched in the mouth.
I lasted six months. The POS Supervised Release dude was going to violate me. Then I did the only thing I knew.
Ft. Worth, TX. This time, I didn’t make it past the front doors. Career Criminal status. 180 months. 15 years.
From USP Atlanta to Manchester, KY to Beckley, WV, I was buried in the system. The last few years? Locked in the hole, non-stop. 18-38. Six months free. That was it.
Some of you get it. Some of you never will.
This isn’t for the crime junkies playing detective on Netflix or the soft ones looking for a thrill. This is for the ones who lived it. The ones who know what it costs. The ones who understand The Code.
If you get it, welcome home.
If you don’t? This wasn’t made for you.
Dean V. - The Man, Myth, & Legend

DEAN VALLEY – LIVE BY IT OR DIE BY IT.
Born in the fire of Youngstown, Dean Valley learned early—if you don’t fight, you lose. At 17, he took that fire to the Marines. But the Corps couldn’t break him. Orders meant nothing. Chain of command? A joke. The system doesn’t like men who won’t kneel. Ft. Leavenworth. 84 months. But it didn’t stop there.
Inside, a hack learned the hard way—some men can’t be caged. New charges. New sentence. USP Leavenworth. Beckley, WV. Seven and a half years on a seven-year bid. Walked out, but the night had his name on it. Booze. Coke. Whores. Eighteen months later? Back inside. This time, the Ohio State system kept him locked for half a decade.
Now? The chains are gone. But the Code stays.
The world is soft. The Code is real.
And Dean Valley lives by it.
